I only ask because it's the middle of summer and every time my mate comes round he wants the heating on. I am afraid he may be a lizard man.

Only when it's very cold, city heating is a rip off here, a month with the heating on 1/3rd can quickly cost 130-170 €, way too much, I'd tell him to **** off if one of my mates started moaning about the temp.

I did use an elec heater for a few days for half an hour in the morning or evening though.

I get really hot all the time in summer, I never want it on. I like it on in Winter though, mother dearest doesn't. She's at that age.

I'm lucky enough to have a bedroom directly above the Aga, which means that it is literally stifling; I also can't open my windows too far or I end up with cats pouncing on me throughout the night!

I live in a poncey eco-flat which means I never had the heating on (and often had the window open) all winter. Unfortunately it also means that it's ridiculously hot in summer

It was back in the winter then it snowed, i never have my heating on and i have the windows open most days.
