I am currently working the abs, just trying to increase the muscle around there.
I have been doing this casually but its mounting. I have been doing this by situps.
I have the feeling that my top abs are growing faster? than the others?
Is this normal? or am i doing the situps incorrectly?

because like you say muscle fibres contract on an all or nothing pricipal. I will try to find out and I will try to find the reference for the EMG studies.
