Where can I buy a TV with a fatter frame and weighs heavier?

This is for my 82 year old Mum.
She hates the TV we've recently got her because it's a standard flat panel that is very light and she's scared of knocking it over :)
She is used to thicker heavier TVs so does anybody still do one?
She'd be happy with my old 36" CRT that took 4 men to carry.

She won't have second hand.
She originally had an old style 32" TV with thick frames so told her she could go to 37" - 40" because new panels were a lot smaller now.
I got the 32" and it looks lost in the corner even though the screen size is exactly the same.

They're pretty hard to knock over! And if she does they're only cheap!

I vote bolt or clamp it to the table, or get some kind of safety kit which are usually like a strap or rod that stops them falling.

Well tell her it's brand new or refurbished and get a free TV off gumtree. People are giving away fat, heavy ugly TVs every day

Some of you are missing the point unlike Psycho, she looks at the TV and because it's so thin and a tiny frame she thinks it looks cheap.
We have an old style shop locally called Hylands and I bet they've got something in their back room.

She does have a point though, that latest LCD's have become very light, and less stable than their predecessors,
so with young children running around or older people (who might want to occassionaly support themselves against furniture) having an additional tether (edit - on the tv) could be useful

- posts about accidental damage to lcds(no oled ones yet) are becoming more common

I had a cheap LCD from Argos (Acoustic Solutions I think it was) that had a really thick bezel, I could only get the 24" one in the gap I had, manage to replace it with a 32" Samsung LED with plenty of room to spare about a year ago so maybe look at Argos/Asda/Tesco for the very cheap range as they tend to be a lot less streamlined.

We have a large Currys so I'll have a look but I didn't give Tesco a thought - good call.
