Evolution has made some of us tolerant to it, some of us however, are not lol

Oat milk taste better too! Drinking milk makes me create methane….

65% of adults are lactose intolerant.. up to 100% of adults in some developing world countries.

Most of us, me included have such bad diets they it covers the minor issues that we have for it.

I discovered it from eating mayo.. now a days I eat so little dairy, just a splash of milk in the odd coffee, the cheese I get is basically plastic anyway.. I would love to eat more yogurt, it’s the only thing I really miss.

We just buy lactose free milk
Is there a thing? I just buy cravendale, not sure how much of it is actual milk as it last for ages in the fridge, I use so little of it… splash in the coffee on the odd times.. I love corn flakes but often forget that I do.. lol

I rarely use the whole bottle before I have to throw it down the sink and go to the backup plan of coffee mate.

I kinda knew I was lactose intolerant as a kid, but didn't think much of it.

Until I started training hard for climbing. I was getting frustrated at why some days I'd climb really well and feel super strong, and others I'd be weak, feeling tweaky, getting elbow and joint pain. Did a food diary for a few weeks.

It was dairy causing the bad days.

Less than 0.03% lactose which seems to be tolerated just fine by my very lactose intolerant OH.

What’s the fridge life of it? Also to keep to the topic, is there plenty of 3-NOP in it?

Oat milk is my preferred alternative.

I somehow manage to tolerate quite a bit of dairy in my diet. Up to 800ml of semi skimmed and 100g of whey powder some days.

I can have a splash in my coffee and tea. Since milk is free at work, it's what I do. But if I make a hot chocolate using milk, a mug of it will make me fart for hours non-stop.

BILLIONAIRES are putting CHEMICALS in your MILK. Bring back good HONEST, FRESH, COMMON SENSE milk with NO NONSENSE from a BRITISH FAMILY RUN farm.

How many words in before our resident DM readers were on the vinegar stroke?

I personally don't drink milk.

But I find it odd people on here have no resistance to what companies put in food.
Oh I do. We basically have next to no UPFs at home. And we're quite careful with what we buy.

But unless there are laws and standards in place then bigfarma (or mass manufacture) will continue to do mass production at low cost high volume because it works.

Until people vote with their choices of food UPFs are here to stay unfortunately.

Food standards need to be kept high this is what I worry about UK being independent is that now we won't have the same standards as Europe. Food standards in USA and Oz etc.. are awful.

Food producers don't have our best interests or health in mind.

Thanks all for the recommendations on lactofree milk, I'll give that a try next time.

I can't believe how many people suggested oat milk, I tired three different brands on the suggestion of a girl at work as they do taste different but I find the three brands that she recommended are just different levels of tasting bad.

We all should try to do what we can, but to resistance cost money.

Poor people eat/drink what they can afford and it's oftern the cheaper products are the ones pumped with the chems. just look at th price difference between barn, free range and organic eggs.
