I'm doing a reformat so I need to know what to back up.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (single player and multi player)
Call of Duty World at War (single player and multilayer)

Grand Theft Auto IV
GRID
World in Conflict

Most important ones in bold. Thanks.

Edit: oh yeah, this is in Vista 64-bit by the way.

For Vista, most recent PC games are located in the C:\Users\Your name\Documents\My Games directory. I wish that they could all be in the C:\Users\Your name\Saved Games directory...

Only games that seem to be covered in there are AOE, Crysis, and BIA.

I need to know where GTAIV and COD 4 and 5 are saved the most.

Cheers.

What about single player data for COD4 and 5, and multiplayer data for 5?

And most importantly where are GTA4 games saved?

after that you get two more folders, which is it?

Just copy the contents of the user_e00000etc. Then when you want to back them just create a new profile in the game start a new game, then exit and paste the old stuff into a new folder which the game created in the same location.

And you're sure this works?

Yes because i did it about 2 weeks ago when i installed a new motherboard. Just copy accross the actual contents of the folder and not the folder. Make sure you start a new game so that a new folder is created then delte the contents in the folder and copy your back ups in there. It works.

Didn't work for me and i haven't bothered to play GTA4 since (i reinstalled windows when i was at the VERY last mission of the game, never got round to completing it, probably never will now)
