Where can i find web/graphic designer

I'm a freelancer my self though I'm sure many others here are too. If you give a brief/rough outline of what's needed then I'm sure we can point you in the right direction or have someone that could possibly do it for you.

If you're worried about potential mod problems then you can PM me and I'll get back to you once I get back from work.

I need a 12-15 page website with comprehensive SEO. I have hosting with 1&1 and have bought the website addresses.

I already have a logo and colour scheme. I will need some design work to complete the brand.

Some work on illustrations diagrams and animations of processes involved with the work i do.

I have already had a few "friends of friends" begin work for me, who were shocking at communication and getting the task completed within a reasonable time frame.

With that many pages I'd assume that would be all static? If it requires some dynamic pages then that would take quite a bit longer. In my opinion nowadays SEO isn't essential, all web designers should be keeping their code clean anyway with emphasis on the most important info at the top, if they don't give them a slap. :P

Now when you say "illustrations diagrams and animations" is it possible to list a single example or would that be confidential? If you mean by 3D work like 3ds Max/Mudbox then I can do that but this part is quite vague that I wouldn't know if I (or others) would know what that would entail.

No 3d stuff. I'm a commercial and domestic gas & heating engineer. I also specialise in underfloor heating and some renewable technologies. Illustrations and animations will be to demonstrate how the technology works.

If I wasn't so busy I would offer to do it free of charge, there's an abundance of members here who are brilliant web developers - I can't see why you'll have any issues in attracting interest.

Maybe think about posting this on GD?

People have to earn a living. I don't expect anyone to work for free.

I already have some large maintenance contracts looking after public buildings and offices. A corporate/professional look is essential.

I will need to see a portfolio before i give someone the job. I have up to 1k to spend.

If you have a little extra time with regards to gettin the website sorted, why not split it into two jobs.

If you find a freelancer or someone to do the work for you how about getting them to do the illustrations first rather than beginning work. Relieves a portion of your burden and gives you peace of mind after having issues with communication and timescales.

Would offer to give you a helping hand but not sure i could commit any time to it due to my working schedule atm, worked over 60 hours in the past 4 days and i'm unsure if i'll have any major free time over the next few weeks.

As someone working in this field, my only bit of advice for you is to create a comprehensive brief on exactly what you require and then put it out to local agencies.

A rock solid brief is the only way you will get what you are looking for.
