Where can I get a quality desk without spending loads

I was told to try them but teh restaurant was heaving.
On the way out they had a takeaway, order on the screen and pickup - £3.25 for chips and 8 meatballs which is not bad to be honest.
I prefer the ones my Mrs gets me from Iceland or ALDI.

Whatever desk you go for make sure its height adjustable, nothing worse than sitting at a desk at the wrong height.

Something like an Ikea Bekant or a sit stand desk.

Ikea UTESPELARE is what I have with my NV5 on the desk with a 42" & 27"

Very useful info! I'm off to IKEA in MK next week and will take a look too.
I've currently got the typical IKEA setup of the two cabinets with the IKEA kitchen worktop sat on top.
It's useful for the thickness as ive got 3 screens on arms attached, but I find the depth of the desk too shallow.

Even with the monitors on arms as close to the wall as possible, I still feel like I'm sat way too close to them for comfort.

I’ve got an utespalere from Ikea, it’s a decent desk for the money.

If you don’t need the depth then I’d go the kitchen worktop route.

I got one of those too, delivery was expensive as I don't have a car, but very pleased with the desk, can fit 2 computers and my monitor on it and still have space available.
Doesn't wobble either, like my last desk.
Very pleased with it.

That's the one I have. If your PC is small enough you can hide it away in the right hand cupboard which has a hole in the base for cables.

One thing I would say is be mindful of the ergonomics and specifically the height of the desk as many office desks are too high to use with a keyboard/mouse comfortably.

For example the smart looking corner desk above is 75cm which, whilst fine for writing, unless you’re very tall is likely too high to type at for most folk sitting in an office chair IMO.

I’d personally go for something no higher than 70cm if you’re of average height.

I think my current desk is set to 68cm which feels perfect to me for mouse/keyboard use.
