Where can I get a Rover immobiliser override code?

Anyone know where I can get a immobiliser override code for a Rover? Mine seems to have died (when I try to start the car it does nothing. No sound at all)

I didn't get one when I bought the car.

what age is the car? pulling the fuse for the imobilser / alarm disables it on some models.

whats the year/ model car?

with most models the code is unique to the car, are you sure its the immobilizer.

My Rover 25 did the same last week and was told it was the starter motor. I'd get this checked first

Its pretty difficult to get the EKA code unless its in the handbook, people that program immobiliser fobs can tell you them, (got mine with my fob that cost the princely sum of £80!)

But would that cause it not to do anything when turning the key? It didn't make any sound.

It's a 1999 rover 414 btw.

Is the 'ALARM' light on the dash constantly lit?

It flashes on and off but it always does that until the engine is started.

Are you sure it isn't just a flat battery?

Or a knackered ignition switch?
