Where can I get big blocks of foam or polystyrene?

I'm talking 4x2x2 feet...ish. Polystyrene or similar would be better but some sort of foam would probably do the job too.

I need it to carve a fancy dress costume from. I'm making a Ghostbusters Ectomobile with a big hole in the middle so I can step into it and have it around me if that makes any sense?

I've looked everywhere that came to mind at first but have had no joy so far. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ta :)

Building merchants should have some in big blocks, I think. Pretty sure my dad had a fair few slabs of it kicking about when he was doing up his house a few months back.

I got a load of 2" thick sheets from Wickes a while back, they were in with the insulation stuff.

Personally I'd make it out of cardboard boxes and paint it in white emulsion. It'll be a LOT cheaper and make a LOT less mess than carving a block of poly. I really can't remember where we used to get it from at work, in 8x4 sheets about 2' thick but it was damn expensive, I remember that.
