Where Can I Report a Website Vulnrability Ethically.

Hey All,

May sound waird but yes, there is this site the i got into because there security was absolute rubbish, There some online shop in austrailia called I like pretty pictures, due to the password being pathetic i have access to over 100 Orders, let alone credit card infomation in pure text including the CVN number and addresses, in no doubt im probably not the only one who has access

But as im ethical i want/need to report it but i dont know how to go about it and also im only 17 and i dont want to end up in ****ing prison, because i found. and reported it, i can see them taking it the wrong way and i end up getting *******ed.
 
Because all they have to do, is simply forward my phone call to the police, pluss i doubt they would belive me, and when they find out, they will simply point to me as malicious

I think you're being a bit paranoid if you think that A) a samll art shop is going to be recording calls, B) they are going to treat you with contempt, C) the police will care. This is not hacking the Pentagon. Use a prepaid calling card from a phone box if you are that worried. :rolleyes:
 
what were you doing guessing their admin passwords anyway?

Seems like a pretty boring thing to do :/

The call would be to Australia - by all means fill your pockets with pennies.

I think perhaps your problem is not as big or interesting as you think - sorry I bothered trying to provide a simple solution!

what reason is there to even bother with some little Aussie art shop :confused:

Im the most Dullest Person... Nah, My friend recently got back from sydney and i came across the site from this ausie art database thingy.

lol, was interested, curios to see what the security was like, it wasnt planned, nor thinked trough, just hmmm i wonder...

Now I see why he's paranoid. It was obvious he was getting up to something.

Just email them or something. Is it really worth a thread? Just do the obvious.
