Where do I purchase "get up and go"

I know exactly where the OP is coming from. I have a friend who I hardly ever see cos he is always doing something. I tend to only really hear from him on a monday when I email to ask how his weekend went.

I try to get as much as I can done during the weekend as I don't really have time during the week, but I'm lucky if I can get more than a couple of things done. Yet when I get an email from him, he will have done a shed load of DIY, gone shopping, worked on his cars, gone for a meal, played squash, gone for long walks, met up with people for a drink etc etc, all in the space of the same 2 days during which I have only managed to pop to a diy shop, get home work on a bit of diy, (normally unsuccessfully) and that's about it. I just have so little energy or motivation and I find it really difficult to get myself motivated cos I know that whatever I try to do (ie diy etc etc) will go wrong.

It really gets me down sometimes cos I wish I could achieve more but I never manage to.

Declutter your home, you'll be amazed how much energy that will generate. Trust me this works.

I don't naturally have a get up and go attitude but I have an artificial one that I force on myself sometimes because I know if I don't get up and do something I'll start thinking about the difficulties and never do it. I have to commit to things and then realise what i've got myself into, otherwise I often just won't do it.

That's probably a good idea, however I have trouble getting rid of things, I'm terrible at getting rid of stuff. Normally if I'm trying to tidy I end up keeping everything cos I just can't bare to part with things as I feel a real attachment to even the most tiniest of sentimental items.

It's called adrenaline, you gotta go out and have a good time, you get this "LETS DO SOMETHING AMAZING!" attitude.
Then you come down off it and you do it all again.

Get yourself this book. Clear Your Clutter by Karen Kingston. It's amazing why we hoard and clog up our lives sometimes. It really does help to give you energy and clear your life up, if you clear your immediate space up.

I quit my job of 19 years, and have gone to Uni. My energy levels have rocketed now I'm doing something I enjoy, and that stretches me mentally.
I don't know if it makes sense financially for me to have taken this decision, but I really don't care !
