Where do PWM 4 pin connector plug into on mobo??

I am buying to case fans but im not sure where they will fit into as the Tranquillo fan is connected onto the CPU 4 pin on mobo. Are there any alternatives for this??

Which mobo is it?

If you wanted you could run 3 pwm fans form the cpu fan header using a splitter cable. I have done so in most my builds wihtout issue.

I must say the text of your question is poorly worded so i think that's what you mean? to = two?

Your mobo should have system fan connectors. Look for 'SYSFAN1' 'SYSFAN2' etc. (or similar). Mine has four.

You can still fit PWM 4 pin fans to 3 pin connector on mobo but without PWM function.

I only see the CPU fan 4 pin which is connected to the Gelid Traquillo, and only one chassis 3 pin fan connection for the exhaust.

I would like the PWM functionality on the ones that are capable and to be able to run all these fans:

Brilliant thx, will it interrupt my Gelid CPU cooler as I have that connected CPU FAN connection on mobo. shame its out of stock.

It allows you to control 3 PWM fans from a single mobo header, so your CPU cooler should be fine. Power for the fans comes from PSU so it won't stress the mobo and the PWM function from your fan header.

Installed these today and wow literally inaudible with GPU taken out, any know if the viper side shut be facing front and the akasa side facing back(want to make sure its blowing air out the right way)?? its in front side of PC. The CPU fan is connected on the 4pin of the PWM fan spliter and the other is connect on the 3pin of splitter. Is this fine for the fan to run?

There should be arrows on the fan casings to indicate air flow direction.

The fan connected to the 3 pin will run constantly unless you connect it to the splitter

Id say that the 3 pin fan will run 100% even when connected to the splitter. As it doesnt have a PWM wire. Essentially it will be the same as using a fan extension cable.

OK thanks guys, sorry if I wasn't making it clear, my CPU fan 4 pin is connected to one of the 4 pins on the splitter. the other half of the splitter has 3 pins and I used my PWM fan that is 4 pin connect to it and it is running constantly.

Hope that makes sense, everything is running fine very nice. good airflow etc.
