Where do you get your paper from?

I work at an art supply manufacturer and we have had trouble sourcing paper for canvases as floods in Mexico meant lumber areas were inaccessible. Canada had flooding last year as well.

Been ages since I bought printer paper. I remember paying about a fiver ream, now I can’t find a ream for under a tenner. Mostly around the £12-13 mark. When did paper get so expensive?

Any suggestions for good, reasonably cheap, online paper shops please?

printer paper in Tesco is £4 for 500 sheets (70gsm)

Do miss getting free paper from my mum’s work. Worked at a university library and had boxes and boxes of paper delivered for the various photocopiers and printers - both for students and staff.

Just got a box every now and then.

Peasant. :p I don't know how anyone can use 70gsm or less, it's practically see through. I refuse to even let the kids doodle on it lol.

We use Navigator (a Portugese company) coated 80gsm pure white for throwaway stuff, and ultra 120gsm for anything more formal. It's a bit more expensive at around £4 for 250 sheets, but the quality is spot on and the 'coating' infused into the paper means the toner adheres perfectly and I haven't seen a paper jam since we switched.

Edit: Just checked to be sure (I got curious) and it's the Universal 80gsm or Expression 90gsm (depending on stock) we use daily, and the Presentation (100gsm) or Colour Documents (120gsm) we use for anything more formal. Great paper. The best. Trump approved.

I don’t know how anyone can use anything less than G.F. Smith pure cotton 300gsm Gmünd range.
