Where do you get your tyres from?

cannot go wrong with blackcircles.com

or get a quote from them and push your local tyresales/kwikfit type place to price match it.

Thirded for Indies.

Theres a place down me called Harveys, did me a pair of H Rated Pirellis (Proper awkward sized ones being on a Mini) £108 for both corners fitted.

I use Blackcircles. Can never get the time to call places up to bounce prices around. They are good on price if you aren't too fussy about having a specific tyre. I think Hankook (sp?) are their best value "mid range" tyre at the moment in your size.

etyres.co.uk :)

Ordered them online and they were outside my work fitting the tyres the next day :)

I've used Kwik-Fit for years, never had a problem.
Until you get the bill!

Maybe it's just me, but everytime I've got a quote for some 195/45/r15's, they want at least £70 per corner, when other places have tyres for half that.

Get some 195/50/15 or 195/60/15

Probably will work out about £15 cheaper a tyre than the 55 profile.

Until you factor in the increase in insurance premium ;)

I usually just go to Mr Tyre.

Just got 4 Eagle F1's for £260 fitted and balanced at the local independent place. Nobody online could match that.

My wife deals a lot with tyres in her dads independant garage. Nowhere I have found online can get anywhere close to prices she can obtain them for. My Merc recently had 4 Firestones for £130.

Go for an independant unless you are looking for something very specialist.
