Where do you go from M3?

Somewhere in the middle.
A good friend of mine has owned an e46 m3 and currently owns an e92 m3. We were chatting and he feels like a new car but can't work out the best option.

He's tempted by an f80 m3 but I personally think these constant M3s are a bit repetitive lol.

Porsche is other option but can't get a good Turbo for under 40k these days.

Everything seems like a sidestep unless putting down serious cash.

What would you guys do?

991 C2S or C4S, on paper it looks no quicker than a E9x M3, but trust me they are a much quicker road car and more capable. :)

Or MY18 Mustang, brand new and it looks like it will offer a lot of performance and decent handling when it comes out. :)
 
C63 AMG? It's a sideward step but when it comes to these type of cars that's not a bad thing.

Personally I'd go for the Porsche mentioned by Gibbo above.
 
How about something completely different like a Range rover

Or one them Porsche 4x4 SUV Cayenne things (There getting to be loads of these over here)

If he's tempted by an f80 then let him go there, he likes M3's and why not? For what they are - as all rounders - little compares.
