Where do you keep your case and why?

Hi guys.

I was wondering where everyone keeps their towers (if applicable) and why, and are you concerned about where it is?

I personally keep my new rig on my desk as i'm afraid of it getting to hot either in desk compartment or getting up too much dust from the floor.

whats everyone opinions?

i keep my antec 900 on the floor underneath the desk, facing a wall...
thing is i need to change the fans around cos the front fans suck in air, i need to make them blow out air.

Under my desk, and when not in used the door is closed. The missus doesnt like to look at it, as it "makes the room look untidy"

Floor for me too, unless I had a bigger desk and flashy LEDs I would have it on the desk.

I have mine raised up about 10" off the floor on a old wooden box I found knocking round the house, It sits inbetween the Desk and the wall.

It keeps everything nice and clean as I have the fourway and all the cables run from the box and it also brings the top of the case up to the same height as the desk.

On the desk, but only because there'd be no room for my legs under my desk

I keep the work machine on my desk and my gaming machine under it, main reason for that is the need to connect bits via USB to the work machine, e.g. ipod, guitarport, memory card reader etc and it's easier to access.

Mine is on my Desk mainly because the beer fridge is under the desk lol. But new Antec NSK case will be going under as it wont have a window in it. Will be sitting on top intil i got it running perfect, its a pain the the a$$ when you need to going indie and its under the desk.

Desk is way too small to fit this case on it! (that allies to both Uni + home)

Same here... I've seen the insides of too many units that live near the ground... Plus I like my LCD display where I can easily see it
