Where do you plug the front panel audio in on an Extreme Music?

That'll pickup noise, you want a switch not a splitter.

they all look the same to me, just some have more ports/jacks, the smallest one would work wouldn't it?

I think you need the bottom one, but like I said there might be a problem switching headphone level, as it's amplified a bit- could have distortion.

That's why using line out--->switcher---->headphones/speaker amp is better, than having it your way.

yeah I see, but couldn't you just turn the sound down on windows to counter the distortion?

and how much would that bottom one cost?
