Currently on the floor but it has resided on the desk previously. Needed room for 2 screens now I am streaming again.
 
I have lots of lights in mine always had it on the floor thinking of putting it on the desk what do you think
 
Desk, but when I had more space it was on a desk height set of drawers next to my desk so I had the full use of the desk. I used to have it on the floor but it really does get dustier down there
 
mines suspended in mid air in my back garden

seriously though, mine is located on a thick anti-vibration mat, which is located on the floor under my desk
 
Under a desk, in a windowless, white, NZXT H630. Frankly a powder coated white case hidden from sight, is as jazzy as I get, I can't believe how many LEDs I had to turn off. CPU, Mobo and case externals and I still can't stop the team group ram from pointlessly glistening in my fully enclosed build.
 
I think it does get really dusty on the floor. Will try my desk just hope it can hold the weight
 
Dust is such a pain :| doesn't make much odds for me where I put it dust wise.

Current setup has positive flow with filters on the intakes and still gets a bit dusty inside.
