If only that had been an option during the general election. Couldn't have been worse than what we've got to choose from atm

The people who think people are generally good elect politicians based on what they say they'll do rather than what they actually do and they keep re-electing them. The government should be there purely to act to the benefit of the people but I don't think almost any modern day democracy acts in this way. Politicians mostly act for themselves, to better themselves above all others and this leaves them corrupt and easily bought. America/UK are useless as democracies with governments consistently acting against the people but for outside interests. The wealth growth skewed so heavily towards the rich who are continually allowed to exploit the poor with politicians coming up with reasons like hey, bigger tax breaks on the rich will totally make poorer people better off.... AT&T announce some basic bonuses to make people happy about the tax breaks(which don't come into action till next year) then fire a bunch of people right before xmas after another anti democratic action in the net neutrality rules were gotten rid of while Disney continues eat up the media industry.
When the the rich people control education through the government and media through their own companies we have entire populations of people who are completely misinformed and continue to elect the wrong people into government.
Where is the future of democracy... democracies died a long while back. Is there any chance we'll get back there? WIth how misinformed people are these days, with how wrapped up they are in facebook, social media and believing everything at face value then no.... not really. Unless magically enough of the world wakes up, starts educating themselves, thinking critically and stops re-electing corrupt politicians there is no way out of this.
