1200 gs not reliable 1100gs is much better

My friend has been riding around on his '04 1200GS since new and it's never gone wrong once, that's despite trips all around Europe and Scandinavia - it's never let him down.
He tested the new 1200GS Adventure and was most impressed, although it was slightly too large for him, I'm guessing Spie won't have that problem!
