Where on Earth ?

If money was not an object, where would you like to visit and photograph ?
me ? I'd love to eventually visit the Russian far East, especially the Kamchatka peninsular, saw it on 'Wild Russia' on Nat Geo HD and thought 'wow !'

Regards Simon

South America:
Amazon rainforest
Atacama desert
Andes
Machupichu, inca ruins
Latin cities
Patagonia
Icefields
Galapagos

Been my dream trip for the last 10 years and has kept getting postponed, now I'm nearly a father:(:D

Good shout, but from Australia, I've never seen a night sky like it, thousands of miles from any light sources. I imagine Thailand will have more populations.

Money no object but not on earth how about the aurora lights of Jupiter :) take a few years and several 100bn dollars to get there. But I think its possible with current tech. Just a lot of launches assembling biggalow inflatable habitats.

Oh god I know, that cave, I think its in Thailand, that has an underground Forrest. That is it, that's my final vote. Here we go Hang Son Duong cave system.

Unfortunately they have ruined the chance with the cave. Greed won over and rather than allowing small groups to occasionally go in and "rough it" a company have the right to charge people a couple of grand and you go in with a guide and porter who cooks food for you etc.

I'd love to go there but out of principle will never do it until they make it "wild" again.

Road trip across any of the continents. Or maybe a really long project on the Philippines from top to bottom.

The Philippines trip''ll cost you £12.50... :p

I would love to go back there and shoot all over, I think with £2000 you could easily spend several months there and visit most of the country if you did it right. Stay in a local hut or camp and spend several days in a small area before moving on and you could get some stunning photos of the whole area for very little.

Definately these below. Personally I'm not that interested in Machu Piccu, not sure why.

Atacama desert
Patagonia
Latin cities
Galapagos

Add to that list Boliva for the Salar de Uyuniand you've got the makings of a good 3 month or so South America trip.

I've still trying to get there. Aiming for Jan 2015
