So I don't particularly like huge logos on my clothes, but equally I don't like clothes from Tesco. Next is okay for some stuff like jeans. But I dint really know many other okay shops. Obviously I need a variety or I'll just look like a walking shop advertisment.

Where do you recommend to shop?

Burton, but I find their clothes have gone downhill dramatically over the last year.
H&M?
Republic I believe are still around.

Although I grab some clothes from TheHut & M&MDirect, as they have deals on occasionally.

The toilet store? :p

For T-Shirts and the like, TK Maxx is always worth a shot as they tend to have quite a wide variety of brands on offer, both plain and logo'd.

The only other places I tend to look are River Island and Burton, however I tend to leave the buying down to my wife as she is definitely better at that sort of thing and I'm not that bothered, as long as I don't look like a hobo.

How the hell can you not walk into a town centre with a couple of hundred quid or whatever your budget is, walk into a shop and see if you like what they sell?!!

Spend an afternoon deciding what you like and buy it. Done.

Please don't go to Burton! You'll come out looking like a cretin.

I think you really need to know what it is that you want to buy, and then just go somewhere that sells those things.

i tend to get my clothes from Gap, Asos, or Topman.

Because I don't want to spend a whole afternoon looking at clothes I mostly don't want to buy while in a grubby town centre mixing with slow old people and scum. I'd rather just look on their websites.

Thanks for the genuine responses with shop names!

Lol what a load of ****.

just go to the reduced section in your local supermarket, thats what i do as im not a fan of clothes in general and have a few 'nice' clothes for when they are required... also the fact im trying to lose weight so buying new and expensive XL clothes seems a waste as i would like to be in L within 6 months (this isnt a new year thing i was in XXL 6 months ago)

Go to an out-of town shopping centre that's hard to reach by public transport and opens late in the evening. Going late on a weekday evening tends to be a nicer experience than most city centres.
