I think we are at that edge now where 16gb IS becoming a thing for games I often see my system using 10-12gb of ram when playing games I know it's not improving my frames however It's being used for something and means it's not being choppy due to flushing.

One reason I've considered increasing my RAM - sometimes I use a 4-8GB (can't really spare any more) RAM drive for capturing with shadowplay for the smallest performance impact - but means having to drop the quality a lot to fit any decent length into that.
