Where to buy uncommon beers

I'm trying to get my hands on some beers, Gonzo Imperial Porter and Barrel Aged Gonzo, from an American brewery (Flying Dog Brewery). I've heard that some British shops sell them but I've never come across them in any pub, supermarket or off license. Has anyone here come across any of them? Where do you go to buy uncommon booze?

They have Jupiler! Thanks a lot, I just spent £100 on beer, when I had no plans to buy anything :(

Another week without saving towards a car!

They don't appear to do Ciders, anyone know where I can buy them online? Got a real craving for Rattler or St. Heliers, however now i'm in the south east their cider range is either Strongbow, Magners or that lightning stuff...

Theres a pub in london called the lexington that does a fair few american beers (propper beers instead of light lagers) and an enormous amount of whiskey (sweet and real ones) with probably the best jukebox in the world :D (velvet underground and the first jesus and mary chain albums were on it for free)

Anyway yeah that place is awesome if your near it (we had a few gigs in london and went there especially)

St Helier is available in our local Makro amongst other places.

I'm slightly surprised, both my local ASDA and Morrison's do St Helier.

What's Marko? Marks and Spencer? And where do you live?

Sorry, bit vague there, there are a couple of shops that sell St Helier apple cider, but they also do loads of other flavours, same with Brothers cider, also very nice but rarely available outside the south west it seems.:)

Makro is a wholesaler similar to Costco.

I'm suprised too, St. Heliers is a relatively common cider, the likes of Westons Stowford Press (sp?) is THE most amazing cider i've ever had, but i couldn't find it anywhere but a random pub in the North York Moors :(

EDIT:Although i've just found you can buy it straight from Westons themselves :D

Cheers for the links to Beers of Europe. The beer I'm after is too expensive (1x355ml bottle = £11 incl. p&p, 24x355ml bottles = £90 incl. p&p).

But the homebrew kits caught my eye.

Yeah they are apparently available all over the place (just googling), except here it seems, which is about right...

They do st heliers on beersofeurope. in the cider section.

I usually use http://beersofeurope.com/ so try there.

They have got a serious amount of different beers on there! Might have to order up a dozen different bottles and see what i like.

I dont like heavy duty beers, but iv grown fond of a an ale called Fursty Ferret that i could only get in my local off liscence until sainsburys started dishing out.

Anybody got any suggestions on which beers from the site deserve a tasting?

Wow they do Felinfoel Double Dragon. Awesome.

Well I've bookmarked it but I'll hang-fire for now.

Edit: and Paulaner which the local tesco has decided to stop doing..
