Where To Find a Double Bed Frame Like This?

I have a bit of a back problem so I am looking for a quite specific double bed frame, my requirements being:

- Easy to assemble AND disassemble, so probably a metal frame but doesn't have to be. Must be able to take it apart and transport it easily.
- Very solid, no give in base, no movement in frame, no sag in the middle
- Base should be perfectly flat, preferably continuous base rather than slatted as I don't want the mattress to sag through anywhere
- No sharp edges that I can whack my shins on
- No impediment at the end of the bed, feet must be able to hang off as I'm tall :p
- Preferably some sort of headboard that is comfortable to sit up against

Does anyone know of a bed frame like this and if so where can I buy it from?

Thanks

I have this in a king size with a firm memory foam, its height adjustable, but im 6ft and on the highest elevation is perfect to sit straight on and off, no issues with a painful back like I did with my old lower bed. Its a fairly long frame and the foot is open so your feet could go through anyway

Not much help. But have exactly what you are looking for in the spare room, I just can't remember where we got it from. It's metal frame. With two metal panels instead of wood slats, which have like extremely heavy duty chicken wire and other supports. It's stupidly strong and stable and easy. Joints have not worked lose or anything else.

It annoys me when you search for metal beds it shows metal frames with wood slats.
It's by far the best bed in the house, it's just double rather than kingsoze otherwise it would be main bed.

Thanks for the reply but the footend would probably still drive me crazy, so it's not what I'm after.

Yes, that sounds like the kind of thing. Let me know if you suddenly remember. Thanks :D

Have you checked what type of base your mattress should be used with? I had a slatted base (designed for an open sprung mattress I had), when I changed to an individual pocket sprung mattress I needed to overboard the slats with a solid base that had ventilation holes in.

The base needs to be continuous or if slatted, have very small gaps between the slats. That's because I need the mattress to be fully supported everywhere. I have a bit of a back problem so I can't have the mattress sagging through any large gaps.

Just got this one:

no real footend, comfortable to lean against, easy to take apart, solid. It has slats but they are very wide relative to the gaps between then, probably 3 to 1 in ratio. Also in budget and about £150 less than I paid grrrr!

Thanks for the reply.

That's does look nice. However, I want something ultra solid, and ultra easy to put together and take apart, so I'm thinking a metal bed frame will be better than wood.
