I'm looking at spending about 4 days away with my 15 year old son, he's your typical teenager into theme parks and other action activities.
We're looking at getting away around the end of August and just looking for ideas.
I'm possibly thinking Disneyland Paris but not sure if he's a bit too old for that or enough to do. Maybe get the train to Paris for a day as well and see the sights. Also is there anything else to do in that area?
Any other ideas or advice on Disneyland would be much appreciated.
Thanks :)

I don't think he's be too old if he's into that kind of stuff, but i would have thought it'd be prohibitively expensive at the end of August!

Maybe take him to some eastern European country and get him to fire some guns

Ukraine maybe, meant to be lovely this time of year! i swear though when i started reading that sentence i was convinced it was gonna end up mentioning taking the lad to see some 'ladies of the night' :p

group supervised, inc. yourself, canoeing/climbing ... in Lake District .. some walking too
... or wind-surfing somewhere at sea.

15 is too old for Disneyland
Some great ideas, thanks.
I've never been, I was thinking they'd be enough coasters and other rides to keep us entertained.
I wasn't looking at going for the the Disney Mickey Mouse bit but appreciate your thoughts that he's too old, that's the last thing I'd want.
Any others think 15 is too old? Just thought it'd be like Alton Towers but better.

It certainly isn't. You have to remember that Disney is massively branched out now and isn't just small kids Mickey Mouse type stuff, and there's even a big Marvel section opening up soon too which i would have thought would appeal to a 15yr old. Hell it'd appeal to my wife!

It looks and sounds very half-assed to me.

They've taken the Aerosmith rollercoaster and bolted an Avengers story on to it instead.

The only other ride is you watching a screen and flailing your arms about pretending to be flinging webs.

With the money they are raking in, they should be making an entire Marvel theme park somewhere.
