Where to go for a few days away with my teenage son?

I'm looking at spending about 4 days away with my 15 year old son, he's your typical teenager into theme parks and other action activities.
We're looking at getting away around the end of August and just looking for ideas.
I'm possibly thinking Disneyland Paris but not sure if he's a bit too old for that or enough to do. Maybe get the train to Paris for a day as well and see the sights. Also is there anything else to do in that area?
Any other ideas or advice on Disneyland would be much appreciated.
Thanks :)

Could head to a Go Ape? Quite fun actually and lots scattered around.

What about a trip to a snowdome for a beginner lesson, snowboarding is popular at that age. the one in Yorkshire isn't that far from Dalby Forest so could tie in with GoApe and/or Mountain biking and a little further afield from there you could also hit up Tees Barrage for kayaking (if he already knows how) and/or rafting etc?

Snowdonia.

Day 1 - Zipworld caverns (much more interesting than the one big zipline there)
Day 2 - Go up Snowdon
Day 3 - Coed Y Brenin - Hire some mountain bikes and do some trails there
Day 4 - One of the million other outdoor activities in the area, or head to Barmouth for rubbish seaside arcades and fish and chips by the beach.

Plenty of adventure options, plenty of more relaxed options :)

Eurodisney is really expensive (I've looked into taking the family). I reckon the same money could get better experiences for a 15yo.

You have to really know your kid really at 15 regarding stuff like Disneyland - some will love it, others not so much and/or depend on what attractions they have vs their interests currently.

At 15 personally I was much more into stuff like go-carting and outdoor activities vs stuff like Disneyland.

Log cabin in Wales that has mountain biking and other activities on site or even a Centre Parks.
I was going to say take him camping.
Similar. You don’t need to spend a lot, it’s the time together that’s important.

Have you checked prices? Most of the log cabins round here require 2 nights minimum and cost upwards of £500 for that pleasure! You could have a long weekend in Barcelona etc for not much more!

Remember a lot of the French take time off in August, so could be a tad busy.

Done 2 of the 3 in post #27 but did the proper Zipline at Bethesda (Big One) . Bike park was good.

That’s why I go camping.
Got a few canvas bell tents.
