Where to Propose!!!

Well you aren't short of a bob or two so why don't you hire a private jet and fly her to an island in the Caribbean which you have rented for the month. You can then propose and celebrate with a massive cocktail party.
 
I proposed on a private river boat trip in Prague of February last year. Getting married in August this year and can't wait!!!

I was going to do it on the Charles Bridge but stuttered a bit too long :p

personally i think you shouldd go away somewhere for the in this country to the countryside or something and forget the holiday. when you have arguaments you can't nip to goa for solitude....
 
Long distance relationship and straight to marraige? What if you find she's an absolute nightmare to live with or be around for prolonged periods of time? It's very different having a long distance relationship to being with somebody all the time.

1 year is very short space of time anyway let alone for a long distance relationship. It CAN work - but generally not in relationships where, as Azagoth points out, that there are existing trust issues etc.

Are you actually engaging her to be married? Ie, you will have a date in mind? Or is it the current fad of having a 'fiance' with no intention to actually marry thats been kicking around for the last few years.

As for location, I'm not so sure it matters that much. Just go somewhere awesome.
