Your situation is similar to mine - although mine is English (when she finished Uni she went home, 200 miles away) - in that I absolutely adore her and, currently, want to spend my life with her. She is great. But I've yet to live with her and until I've done that, with success, I don't think I could consider marrying her.

I think he means if you're with the right person, you just 'know' that you're destined to be together, so why wait before getting married.
Which is silly imo, how you feel about someone after 12 months is not necessarily how you'll feel in another 12 months...
shes not really your gf of 1 year is she, not when shes living in Russia, count the days youve spent together and that is how long she has been your gf, you will be a divorce statistic waiting to happen if you marry this woman now, lol

Hmmmm. And to be honest, a year? Christ, so soon...been with mine for 10 months or so and i see her most days. Still would be odd being married. I know a couple who got engaged within 3 weeks of knowing each other...broke up 8 months later and now its a bit messy. They were 20 and 21.
