Where to put extra fan in this case for...........

As you can see in photo, i have 1 front intake, 1 rear exhaust at the moment, so you reckon just 1 more bottom intake fan to be added ? what is a positive pressure, how would i know i have that, cheers

I did try to right an explanation, but not sure how to explain it. There's a few videos on YouTube explaining it.

Another question, if both of my fans i have already are 120's, for best results does that mean other 2 fans i want have to be 120 also to keep airflow correct, cheers

It will affect the positive/negative pressures within the case. Given two identical fan specs, but one being a 120 and the other a 140, the 140 will flow more.

Well i have 1 x 120 intake and 1 x 120 exhaust that came with the case(cant be upgraded to 140), and room for 2 more 2 x 140 at top of case, and room for 1 x 140 or 120 at bottom of case.

Positive pressure - more air going in than going out through fans.

The idea is the air that's not going out through fans will go out through all the little cracks corners on the case. With negative pressure this is suppose to cause the exhausts to suck air in through the cracks and corners of the case bringing dust in With it.

I would have les e the exhausts as they are and add another intake. Possibly on the bottom.

I think you should change the rear fan to draw in air rather than exhaust it. It will all go out the vents at the top.

Remember to adjust your CPU cooler's fans appropriately.

I would not do this personally, the heated air will naturally rise to the top of the case so you want to work with this process and encourage the hot air out via exhausts. Introducing a flow of cooler air running across the top of the case is just going to prevent the heated air from exiting the case properly.

SP: static pressure; optimised for heatsinks (CPU coolers and radiators on watercooling)
AF: airflow; these fans are optimised for use on unrestricted vents, i.e. case fans, these will be the ones you want for this application.

I would also give my endorsement to akasa Apache fans, they are great value and give a fantastic airflow/noise ratio.

to stick my oar in on the configuration, if you already have a front intake and a rear exhaust, then I would opt for a low rpm top exhaust, followed by an additional higher airflow fan on the front.

I've always just stuck to the principle of overall directional airflow across the case;

intake: front and bottom
exhaust: back and top
