Gone are the days of just the local newspaper and Autotrader. In recent years I've used the big three; Autotrader, Pistonheads and eBay.
It's becoming an expensive exercise to sell a car now. I currently have my VXR Nurb up for sale but its been up for more than a month now using Pistonheads and eBay, with nil phonecalls and the odd text/email from people offering a silly price who havent even seen the car.
Just wondering what the concensus is on the biggest audience? Autotrader seems to be in decline and is more expensive than the others. Pistonheads has often served me well with performance cars but eBay appears to be growing fast for selling motors.
It may be a sign of current market, no doubt. Just wondering if its worth ne forking out for Autotrader or just to be patient with eBay/Pistonheads? Ive also tried Gumtree for the first time, albeit a free ad, not a sausage.
Edit: A poll may be good to guage an idea on what folk tend to use as the go-to option for buying/selling?

Just don't put any kind of buy it now or accept x amount as an offer option or they charge you fees.
