So ive just downloaded BF3, ye i know im late to the party, but where is the best place to install, on a m4 128gb or on green storage hard drive?

would battlefield benefit from the loading times of a ssd or not?

same with skyrim too

put all single player games on the SSD first, multiplayer can go on the SSD if there is room, otherwise the hard drive is fine. with bf3 on ssd, you load less but wait (for everyone else who doesnt have an SSD) more. i didnt notice any negative effects performance wise when taking bf3 off my ssd and putting it onto my hard drive.

I had BF3 on a normal HDD and when I got my SSD I put it on there and things seems
slightly smoother with it on the SSD and the load times are a lot quicker but as said in
the previous post this just means that you see more of the count down clock at the
start of the match.

sounds pointless to me to use up a lot of ssd space just to see a bigger timer before the mulitplayer match!
think ill put sinlge player games like skyrim and the witcher etc on the ssd and put bf3 on hdd then!

If you really care about it being really quick then put on the ssd, but you will be surprised how quick you fill it up with misc stuff. I'd put it on the hard drive.
