Not what you'd like to see .. predictions on where they'll actually end up.

I reckon the moment the group stage finishes they'll be up against Germany. And guess what .. it's a loss on penalties. Who missed their penalty? Blimin' Carrick skies it!

You?

(EDIT -- spelling mistake in thread title .. DOH!)

Quarter Finals I think. It's tradition isn't it?

This...although maybe with a bit of luck...sorry i mean a lot of luck they might get to the semi finals but honestly i dont think they have the quality to get any further than the quarters...there are a few teams out there that are far stronger ie Italy, Spain, Dutch, Brazil, Germany and ARgentina even.

First knock out game will be(if we get through) against someone from Group D, Germany, Ghana, Serbia, Aussie's.

Our group is Slovenia, Algeria and the USA, we're huge favourites to win our group, it would be a surprise to see Germany not win theres. We're most likely to be up against, the Aussie's maybe. Frankly I can see England beating anyone but Germany very comftably, so Quarter finals is frankly, the easy stage to get through to.

Nigeria, South Korea or Greece would have to beat a much stronger than the last few years French team, so we're pretty likely to face France in the quarter finals, its 50/50, for every time France play well and pick the right team Diomenche has a brain fart and picks a team only born on Tuesdays, theres a slim chance we could win that.

The real kicker is, if we beat a poor France the team we face for the semi is going to almost certainly be out of Brazil, Holland, Paraguay and whoever is least crap from Spains group, so our semi is likely against Brazil, if we beat France.

We aren't going to win, lets put it that way. That Draws set up for a Brazil vs Spain final, which would be awesome.

HOnestly, I really doubt we'll beat even a poor France, the team they played us in the friendly was pretty poor, and we were awful and we had more players on form against them and other players fit.

Should get to the quarters, and then who knows. From then on in it is not about who plays the most skillful football but who can minimise mistakes. Therein lies the problem as english footballers are more used to open quick football, which can lead to errors.

This I think, all depends on the draw of course.

You know the draw was made, ages ago,

Spain, Italy, Germany and Argentina, if they win there groups, which is incredibly likely, can't see us till the semi final, which is good for keeping the better teams away from us, if they draw we can see them much earlier but theres almost no chance they won't win their groups.

We can't see Brazil or Holland till the semi's at all, thats if they win their groups, if they lose we can't see them till the final.

England actually have a great run in to the final, IF France have a pathetic team we only really have one decent team to try and beat to get into the final.

Ok, I'm assuming we can win our group comftably, if we don't we'll likely be in the knockout stages against Spain, Italy, Germany, Argies, and frankly, we'll have no chance at all. If we come as runners up in our group, we'll most likely start off against Germany and not even make the quarter finals.
