Personally I dont think you have had a a decent keeper or strong keeper since the long pony tailed one.
Beckham's inclusion is like taking a lucky charm abroad and to be fair I think you have to move on, thank him but leave him behind.
Defence regardless of the bridge/ terry thing is fairly sorted.
Midfield again is certainly one of the strongest especially in the middle. The Walcott, Baines etc etc will sort itself out.
Forwards Rooney is on fire and if on the same form and allowed the same freedom could possible win the thing on his own, unlike Fletcher when he plays for us cant string a pass. Crouch I think has to be the guy up with him.
Defence is sorted? Terrys form in the past month has been absymal, mistake after mistake, if his league form continues to be bad, why expect a great performance in the world cup. Upson's never showed he can be the best, Brown is a horrible right back, Johnson is a horrible right back defensively whose shown up time and again against the half decent in our league, let alone the worlds best wingers, Ribery, Messi, Ronaldo, Robinho, Henry and a dozen others they'll rip him a new one. Rio hasn't played 3 games in a row in so long its a joke, shows no signs of improving and hasn't shown great form due to lack of games.
Cole is highly unlikely to be back for the world cup if you ask me, bad injury, awful personal life, he's got 3 months in which to sit around utterly depressed and angry, he's got more chance of becoming a stupid fat drunk than getting back from injury in peak form. Bridge won't play with Terry, Baines "might" be good enough.
Midfield, Barry is a deadweight, Gerrard sucks for England and has been poor compared to usual for Liverpool, rarely fit for long, Carrick is useless when pressed, we have no quality defensive midfields at all. England have great wingers, but we keep starting midgets, OAP's and Gerrard on the wings, wooo.
Rooney, theres plenty of strikers in great form on the world scene, Rooney won't create chances, or stop us conceding. ROoney has a boring game against Burnley, and pops up with two late goals and Utd win, England would be 3-0 down to Brazil before Rooney picks up a late goal. IF as is seemingly likely, we start him alongside Heskey and the likes, Rooney will have zero service.
WE play boring uninspired football under Capello, which is the usual for him. We look like we don't know how to break teams down until they tire, slow down and start making mistakes. You can count on Egypt and other poor teams to make those mistakes often enough we can take advantage, we can't count on Brazil, Spain and the rest to make enough mistakes to help out our lack of cohesion and creativity and our defence certainly can't be trusted to keep them from scoring even if we don't make mistakes.
