Where'd Fractal go?..

The first Fractal case I got was in great condition, however a year later (June/July this year) the one I received was totally scratched up and damaged inside. The retailer I emailed knew about it and they sent a new one out, so I guess it's not just one off's.
 
My R4 arrived with the box completely intact yet had scratches as dents in some areas.

I guess the reasoning for stopping stocking them was justified. Love my case, OcUK stopped selling them after I purchased the last black one in stock.
 
OcUK aren't the only company to stop selling them. Shame the quality went to ****. I love my R3

It would have been nice if they had taken a bit of extra care with them however, they must be whipping the people working on their assembly line too hard...

+1. Customer support is just fantastic. I have an arc midi, chopped it up, drilled it here n there, seems to be ok. Wasn't aware there was a problem.
 
My Arc Midi is fine, customer service friendly, my side window panel arrived in perfect condition and really well made. Doesn't mean everyone else will have the same experience with their products though.
 
Buying an R4 elsewhere, will report back on support - if I get any issues!

Shame as they're a very nice looking restrained case - like Lian li used to be...
 
I think its hit and miss as I brought a mini elsewhere a month or so ago for a customer build as was impressed enough to buy a r4 for myself to replace an aging 690 advanced, The r4 turned up with a misaligned door, twisted chassis causing sides not to fit correct, a missing foot and worst of all signs of rust a plenty on areas that there was no paint(mainly on the case side slots that lock into the chassis). Needless to say it was sent straight back. Rather than chance another I ended up taking a chance with a Nanoxia deep silence which im very happy with

Aww, that's a damn shame. I'm new to OCUK and I wondered why they didnt sell any fractal here, guess now i know. I've been looking at cases recently and the R4 really caught my eye, I was on the verge of buying one else where, but now I'm scared :P
 
I've got to say that while their cases are very solid, my Arc Midi came with a poorly fitting side door.

Their customer service is good though, they offered to replace it for free.
 
I've gotten replys within hours or early the next day every time...
Message them again and be polite in the message, say thanks etc and hello....
