Wheres that 70mb Vista Theme for XP ?

just tried it and too get it smooth you need the highest settings and then it seems to lag a little. Takes its time to switch between apps/windows and this is running on a a64 3500 with 2gb ram.

Looks quite nice tho, but i think i'll wait for the real thing.

No lag whatsoever here on the much lower specced lappy-
Centrino 1.4ghz
32mb Mobility Radeon 9000
512mb RAM

Summats not right with your install, have you tried defragging etc?
Object dock will also take quite a bit of power, try disabling that.

Best Vista theme for XP has to be Jemaho Vista 1.5 for Windowblinds - very nice representation of the Vista theme combined with Arrow theme for toolbars and one or two other things.

So better than the XP look, and use Icon Packager to change your fugly XP icons to something more Vista-ish, so much nicer to see.

I'm using it now and it's pretty cool - haven't notice much speed difference. But Firefox now looks a bit wierd.. all the toolbar and menu text is in small Time New Roman :/

This is what it looks like:-

Not bad. Need a nice widescreen wallpaper to match it though, haven't noticed any slowdown, just firefox looks odd. IE looks a lot nicer as do all the other icons for folders etc.

Looks really good actualy! It hasn't slowed my PC down at all.
