wheres the best place to put ur computer/case

Found even few inches off the floor = less dust getting in. Did some modifications so that the drawer unit that came with desk is on the side where i can place the PC ontop :)

I keep both my rigs on the floor, 2 akasa eclipse 62's on castors on a wooden floor, no problems with dust as i regularly clean the floor.
 
I keep my akasa eclipse on the floor under my desk. I have space to put it on my desk behind the monitor, but I dont want the extra noise.

Dust not that bad, I have filters for the intake fans.

The worst part are the spiders. They build cobwebs inside the case. I can already see one now...
 
I took the filters out of one of my eclipses, its also fitted with a kama bay, helped with airflow a bit, now when i have to clean it i use compressed air.
 
My desks just has a little shelf to one side, about 2 or 3 inches off the ground. My PC sits on that and stays pretty dust free :) plenty of room on there so good airflow too
