A neighbour said he was the sort of guy you would expect to see playing dungeons and dragons. How stereotypical ;) the outrage.

He lived in the next street to me, my sis went to school with him. Glad I sold earlier it would have killed the house price :D

Never mind the yanks will kill him with friendly fire.

Go home, i see no problem locking him up for 4 days if they have good reason and it means they can make sure it was or wasnt him
 
If there's a good chance it's him, charge him; if not, don't detain him. It's rather simple and it applies to anyone, regardless of race or religion.
 
Don't see a problem. If hes suspected of letter bomb attacks, question him a long as you need. Imagine the outrage if he was released and then killed some people?

I'm not trolling (much). It just strikes me as odd that whenever someone is arrested and suspected of being an Islamic terrorist we get the usual suspects, Gareth Pierce, Liberty bint, Imran Khan et al complaining about a police state etc. Yet nothing for this guy? We can't blame the BBC because they have reported it and stuck it on the news ticker (which is where I saw it). Is this an example of racism in our own society?

Not so much racist, jut a complete intolerance from certain muslim groups. Who try to drive a wedge between community's. By saying they only hold islamic people blah blah blah.

I heard he converted to Islam. It is clear police harrassment of the community. He also looks like my mental image of Visage. I'm going to throw pea and ham soup at him in protest.
