whey powder shakes

hey

Just wondering what's the best way to make a post workout protein drink? What's best to use - milk or water and how much? I remember having some vanila flavoured powder with milk a while ago...tasted rather bland.

thanks for the replies, will look into Reflex.

So basically I can fill up a 500ml bottle with water + 3 tablespoons of powder? That enough?

Put in as much or as little as you want basically... You might find it too watery or too thick so just adjust the amount of powder or water
 
Chocolate reflex tastes all right, nuthing special though. At the moment i'm using the MP Whey from MyProtein.co.uk. It tastes pretty good, the vanilla is real nice. Its basically the same as Reflex and cheaper. If you use this code (MP10347) you get 5% of your first order aswell.
 
Dont bother with the taste. You dont drink it for pleasure after all. Ive got vanilla stuff that I put a bananna in or if I have anything else like strawberries or kiwi I throw them in too. Helps keep your fruit count up too.
 
I would highly recommend Reflex (choc mint) for both flavour and mixability but i've just started on unflavoured MP whey - tastes ok with water kinda milky but not :confused: .

It nice to have a tasty shake after a workout but as MarkM says we don't drink them for pleasure and MP is soo much cheaper!!

I wouldn't mix them with too much water, 250ml is more than enough.
