Which 1tb drive?

I've got 2 Samsung F1's, speedwise ive never really been into benching HD's so seem fine to me and soundwise i've got no complaints but they're drowned out by the CPU and GPU fans anyway

I've just purchased two WD Blacks for the same purpose as you. I haven't opened my rig yet but there's one sitting outside it in a caddie.
I did bench it earlier and then stopped halfway through as I didn't see the point to do so for a storage drive.. I can re do it later if you wish.

Differences are minute, and even if they were huge I'd still suggest the Samsung as it's far cheaper which is what counts in a storage disk.

Not as fast or quiet but if they're cheaper then go for it.
