depends if viewing angles are a problem for you or not. You probably know but the LG will be TN with worse viewing angles, and the dell will be S-IPS/PVA.
Since most stores generally only have TN panels out on display, pop into one to see how you feel about their image quality. Obviously the lighting in there will be different to in your home, but you should get a good idea of whether you think one of them would be good enough for your needs. If it would be then get the LG, if not, splash out on the Dell
