Which 27" Monitor

iiyama are built to last so i would go for that one, i have had a crt thats still going over ten years old, and a tft still going strong. Very well made product. I cannot comment on benq sorry however the iiyama has a faster response time and higher contrast ratio so is better specs too.

Will order that one then!

Went for the I thingy one :p

I'm happy with it ;)

And it has much more reviews which is the thing I look most for. The viewing angles wont matter to me.

The BenQ is a no-brainer since it's an AMVA panel and has the highest static contrast ratio available right now.

The Ilayama is a TN panel with 1000:1 contrast and bad viewing angles.

Have to agree, the BenQ is a far superior monitor being AMVA, it has the best blacks\contrast, better colours, better viewing angles and true 8bit colour depth. Really these monitors should not be compared as they are quite different technically. As far as the response time goes I doubt you would notice the difference between 1ms and 4ms. To the op you got one opinion on your question and maybe jumped a bit early. Scorchisio, you are so wrong re the contrast ratio, BenQ is 5,000:1 (DCR 20,000,000:1) and the Iilyama is 1,000:1 (DCR 5,000,000:1). Hope you enjoy your new monitor though, gaming on 27" 1080p is very enjoyable. :)
