Not quite "money is no object", but what's the best money can buy for the below spec?

- Min 27", max 34"
- 1ms
- 144Hz+
- 16:9, 1440 min, would pay extra for 4K
- Non-curved
- G-Sync (native pref)
- In stock, or likely to be in stock around Black Friday

RTINGS suggests the ViewSonic Elite XG270QG (particularly for G-Sync) but I can't find much discussion about it here which puts me off a bit.

While 2560x1440 has been well competed for many years, state of 100+Hz 4K monitors is **** poor in short.
There are hardly any which I could call remotely worth their price sticker, like I told in that other thread.

Hence why I'm happy with 1440 min, I'll have dual anyway and the other is a 27" 4K IPS panel (LG 27UN83A to be precise).

How about this,

Philips Momentum 279M1RV

I have not looked at any review yet but thought it was quite interesting on paper.

4k 144hz (120hz on console) 1ms

DisplayHDR600 (no idea what sustained brightness is and I doubt it has local dimming)

Price is £800 which is comfortably high for the spec but only silly money not, stupid money.

Just got my son the LG UltraGear 27GL850-B 27" 144Hz Nano IPS QHD 2nd hand for £200 it was like new and its a great looking monitor. Gsync compatible he has a 3060ti. The newer model 27GP850-B 27" I would imagine is just as good. Meets your criteria.

GL850 at £200 was a steal. Really good screen. GP850 is even better, it's faster, slightly brighter, has the useless HDR400 cert and has better black levels. At £300 it's a great choice.

Good shout that, thanks guys. I rate LG too; we've literally got 28x 27UN83A in the office, all calibrated with a SpyderX, and only had an issue with 1.

Any idea if the current discount/price of £298.99 on OcUK is genuine/good, or shall I hold out for Black Friday?

This is the lowest price ever, by over £50. I don't think there will be a better Black Friday deal.
