I've decided to ignore my original plan of not adding my 290's to my loop, to start with, and have decided to get them wet from day one. I don't like the idea of having to drain and then re fill the loop to add them, I've tested them on air, and I'm going to run them for a week, before blocking them up.

I'm running an I5 4690, with a pair of XFX R9 290 DD's, and on whatever rad I decide to use I will be using Corsair SP120 white LED fans.

I have an XSPC RX360, ready to go in, and have a Monsta 240, and a hardware Labs Black Ice Stealth GT cross flow 240mm not being used, so out of the 2 what would be the best to add, also will what I've got be enough ?

Paul, you need 240 rad per high end components. It's rule of thumb in watercooling.
So 2 240s and 360 will be more than enough.
Look at XSPC RX v3 and Black Ice Nemesis. Probably best choice for you.

personally paul the rx 360 and the monsta 240 will be enough to cool everything. i used to cool a i7 4820k and 780sli with a 360 + 240 no problem

What happened to your Monsta 420 and are you still rocking the Primo?

I had 360/240 Monsta's with a couple of 290's and I'd recommend a bit more rad if you plan on overclocking them to be honest.
They don't run as cool as 7970's or whatever NV cards.

Also, I'd really recommend getting some Fujipoly / ModRight Ultra Extreme System Builder Thermal Pad Blister Pack - Mosfet Block - 100 x 15 x 1.0 - Thermal Conductivity 17.0 W/mK imported for those VRM's. Could drop up to 20°C odd.
