Which ~300gb hard drive?

I'm after a new hard drive, around the 300gb mark.

Which make is best to go for at the moment?

Which drive is best value (gb/£)?

Seagate it is, 5 years warranty is pretty generous :)
 
are the 7200.9 300gb IDE drives good as well?

I see they still come with a 5 year warranty.
 
I'm not sure if there is a SATA connection which is why I was thinking about IDE. I'll need to check.

If I need to go for IDE, should I still get the .10 and a SATA to IDE adapter?
