Which 360 FPS should i get?

Hi people,
Which FPS should i get? Condemned or Prey? Its going to be one or the other?

But some people slate both games and some people say both games are great. I played condemed for a bit and thought it looked great etc but seemed a bit slow?
So which do you guys reckon?

Hopefully i can play FPS games on the 360 without the mouse and keyboard :p

Best FPS is COD2, but out of the 2 you mentioned I would get Condemned, can be found cheaply at the mo too :)
 
Well ive got COD2 on my PC so it is just between them 2.
Yeah i have seen it 17.99 that condemned its just that i dont want to buy it just because its cheap. I want a half decent one! :)
 
condemned is a very good game, nd highly recommended but it would call it an fps very loosely though

I would look at getting GRAW or BF2 IMO although u might have them already lol
 
i had cod 2 on pc, i loved it more on xbox 360

anyhoo

GRAW - from a pc gamer ish perspective i hate
PDZ - was good crack for cheap
Prey - only played the demo but not that impressed, coming on rental soon
Quake 4 - well as a pc person im sure you know
bf2 - a lot of people love the MP, i found it boring and nowhere near the PC version
 
Well, COD2 is the best FPS on the 360, but to answer your question.

Condemned is a great FPB (First Person Bash'em up). It's fairly slow paced, atmospheric but highly original and enjoyable. There's no multiplayer but if you want all the achivements there's quite a lot of replayability (melee only awards, find all the evidence etc etc). One thing I did think was I found it that intense (if you're playing it properly you'll understand this) I could only play in small bursts, a level or 2 a night.

Prey is quite 'old skool' and pretty linear, but this isn't necessarily a problem. The graphics are very impressive (on my HD tv anyway) and level design is inventive and litered with original puzzles. It's fairly short but never really boring. The multiplayer can be laggy but is a lot of fun with instant action and despite only 8 maps, they're all A+.

Personally I'd recommend Prey; just. They're both very good but the added multiplayer tips it this way. Condemned is great and if you can find an extra £17 I'd pick it up as well.

Yeah ive got GRAW and its a top game but sometimes annoys me with all the buttons you have to press to crouch and shoot, if you know what i mean?

As for quake 4 i played the demo on the PC and it seemed exactley the same as Doom 3, am i right in thinking that?

And BF2 was top draw on the PC but i dont fancy getting it for the 360.

So i think it maybe condemned then until Prey comes down to the same price! :)
 
As for moving over to pad from mouse and keyboard. I was an old skool fps player and remember getting Doom when it first came out. I thought I'd never like / get used to a joy pad but now tbh I prefer it, there you go!

Is prey only 17 as well somewhere?
