Choice of:

Powercolor
Sapphire
HIS
Force3D

I know they are all essentially the refrence card and technically identical, but which comes with a better warrenty/package. Hard to find which is the best deal really, they are all about the same price. Some of the cards do however look better than others :p

Got a Force3D one here, but it worries me I saw no mention of warranty on the site I bought it from, or the manufacturer's website.

All the warranties I've seen are either 1 or 2 years, with the exception of Asus which is 3. Pretty sure HIS is 2 years.

If its 2 years, then its the same as Sapphire's which is fine for me. I dont envision keeping the card longer than 2 years anyhow. Plus HIS looks the best imo

when they were first released I bought two sapphires and they were both faulty. Now I am using a gainward (the original not the rampage) and even Gainward are terrible at wrapping, the thing it works fine.

Honestly just buy the cheapest one, or go for warranties.

It is 1 year yes, I don't normally trust what OcUK state, but another retailer states the same and there is this on their website which I couldn't find until I googled for it: http://www.hisdigital.com/un/support.shtml

"Technical Support: All HIS graphic cards carry one year warranty. For more warranty information, you can contact your local retailer or regional distributor."

I went for Powercolor 4870X2 purely because of the price. I've always found with all my GFX cards that if it lived past the first week, it saw out it's useful life. (Touch Wood!)

Perhaps i'm riding the lightning a little but I didn't see the point in spending up to 50-60 quid more on essentially the same reference model, just for the warranty.

I also have a Powercolor 4870X2. No probs with mine. A mate is on his second HIS which continues to create more heat than the sun.

It's a 4870X2. We turn the heating off in my house when I have the computer on.

If i've the Xbox running, it's like Sharm el Sheikh in here.

I also have Gigabyte and no issues here either.

As has been stated already, just go for whichever gives best warranty/cheapest price/combo.

Got my Palit Revolution 700 for £384 comes pre overclocked and has a much better aftermarket cooler, It takes up 3 slots though!, runs cool, max load about 64oC (fans at 100%) Easily overclocked to 800MHz and 4GHz for the RAM. See link below for info:
