1. PUBG 312hrs (surprised this is still my #1 despite not having played it in at least 2 years, although...)
2. Valheim 302hrs (...will probably overtake it in the next couple of weeks as it's only ~10hrs behind, and still currently playing)
3. RDR2 162hrs
4. Fallout 4 149hrs
5. Factorio/CP2077 tied at 118hrs

Based on Steam

1. Rimworld (1,700 hours)
2. Elite Dangerous (1,142 hours)
3. Football Manager 21 (919 hours)
4. Civ 6 (632 hours)
5. Fallout 4 (413 hours)

At a guess including time playing on xbox Elite and rimworld would swap places and fallout and civ would be above FM. Have no idea how I have spent so much time playing FM2021 guess Covid and working from home can take the blame for that

Looks like it was:

1. Balatro (358hrs)
2. Fallout 76 (337hrs)
3. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (218hrs)
4. Dark Souls 3 (198hrs)
5. Elden Ring (173hrs)

Was actually quite surprised how much all of the short sessions here and there have added up for Balatro. And I still go into it every now and again to while away ten minutes or so. Would also have guessed DDDA was higher than FO76, but apparently not. Again, all those little hour sessions here and there ticking of the scoreboard tasks after every update must really add up.

1. TF2 - 1923hrs (I admittedly did idle a bit for the crates back in the day)
2. Overwatch - I think in the 1000s of hours
3. Deep Rock Galactic - 1639hrs
4. L4D and L4D2 - combined 864hrs
5. Fallout 4 - 202hrs

TF2 I haven't played in the past 10 years, but TF2 Classified just released this year, which is a community mod release that brings everything back to its roots before hats and back to base weapons (plus an extra weapon for some classes here and there), and I've been loving it. Amazing nostalgia bomb, and reminds me of the good old days and how good TF2 really was.

1. Elite Dangerous: (I need to log in to look at hours played as not owned via steam, fairly sure it is #1 though)
2. Satisfactory: 912 hours on normal and 1228 on experimental.
3. Frostpunk: 1401
4. Before We Leave: 424
5. IL2 Sturmovik Great Battles: not sure on hours as I don't own via steam, might not be in fifth place lol...

Purely pc games too, my PlayStation gaming would be a very different list.

War Thunder
Counter-Strike 2
Grand Theft Auto 5
Total War: Warhammer III
Total War: Rome Remastered

What's interesting is I haven't actually played the first three listed for over a year now. I got fed up with online gaming.

1. Pro Evolution Soccer. This was on PS4/5 really, but would have been playing it on PC if not console. By far and away my most played game in the last ten years.
2. Elite Dangerous
3. Crusader Kings II, HoI3, EU3. Tend to repeatedly play these so lumping Paradox together. Yeah, still play EU3.
4. Jagged Alliance 2. I just play this again every other year, and it is a long game.
5. Factorio

Warframe over last 10 years has had 1000 hours, other games don't come close generally up to 100 hours max for some of the 'bigger' RPG like Assassin's Creed series.

Is civilisation hard to get into?
Not really, on lower difficulty settings its hard to go wrong. There is a lot of depth in the game and a lot of systems and hidden rules to learn but game can still be fun without knowing them (as long as you don't attempt Deity difficulty!)

It does require a lot of time though, and once you get into it there is a strong "one more turn" urge that makes it hard to put down. Civ 5 can be picked up very cheap on key sites if you want to give it a go

Cyberpunk 2077 - 615 hours
XCOM 2 - 292 hours
Mad Max - 266 hours
Astroneer - 255 hours
Subnautica - 192 hours
Subnaitica Below Zero - 126 hours
Aliens: Dark Descent - 123 hours
Cold Waters - 113 hours
Fallout Tactics - 99 hours
Sniper Elite 5 - 98 hours

There’s another 500 hours just in XCOM : EU and Silent Hunter 3 alone, but I haven’t touched those in the 10 year time frame.

There I was thinking 600 hours in Cyberpunk made me a hardcore gamer, but it turns out I’m a filthy casual.

PUBG
The Finals
Rocket League
CS2/GO

Last one is difficult, its either Prison Architect, Raft or Dont Starve Together

Overwatch 2
Destiny
Call of Duty

Difficult to say on others as there are a lot of single player games around the 80-90 hrs.

World of Warcraft would have been tops for sure but that would have been over 10 years ago

1. WoW - Legion launched in 2016, returned to the game after a hiatus since Cata and quit again when Legion was over. Given it was pretty much the only game I played for a year, it's easily up top in terms of hours.
2. Persona 5/Royal
3. Brotato
4. Killing Floor 2
5. SupCom FA

1. Contractors VR
2. Civilization 6
3. The Golf Club 2019
4. Fifa 21
5. GTA 5

edit - actually Golf+ would probably push GTA off the list
