Our Sony 52X3500 is on the blink after 4.5 years. Thankfully, I got a 5 year warranty when I bought it.
It's looking like we may be offered a trade-in option based on 16% annual depreciation from when we bought it. That would equate to roughly £1,400 in todays money.
Don't want to go lower than 52" but I'm totally out of touch with the latest sets. I'm quite loyal to Sony as this is the first piece of Sony equipment that has failed me, ever. That said, I'm willing to look at other options.
At that budget, with the possibility of a few hundred quid over that, what sets should we be considering? Not fussed about 3D, ethernet connectivity etc but would take it, but I'd rather go the best screen in that price range.
