After looking through my computer and seeing that I'm using < 80GB of disk space minus my user directory I have decided to get a small SSD drive. Now there are three drives around £100, the OCZ Vertex 2E, Crucial RealSSD C300 and the Corsair Force. Which of these drives would you recommend in terms of performance and reliability?

The C300. Although the intel X25-m is a better performer, but it's 80gb and £40 more than either of the ones you mentioned.

Based on the prices I've found I'm ruling the F60 due to it's higher cost. So I just have to decide between OCZ and Crucial, is there any performance difference between the two?

EDIT - Ok having looked the overall read and write performances for both drives I'm going for the C300. Thanks guys. :)

Good choice. Don't be disappointed when te write speeds don't match your 7200rpm hdd. The read speeds will more than make up for it.:)

I won't be writing anything to it anyway asides from software installs, all the archive extractions and video editing will be written to the 1TB drive.

Ok I've got windows running on the drive now, but the maximum speed it gets to in atto is ~130MB/s. The motherboard only has SATA II ports so it is clearly connected to the right port.
